TERMS AND CONDITIONS
AGREEMENT
Our terms and conditions apply to the rent and rental of this bungalow.
By paying the first payment term you declare that you agree with these conditions. Please note our cancellation policy.
METHOD OF BOOKING
When requesting a quote, we do not yet block the data. That means that others can still book in the meantime.
If you decide to rent our bungalow, send us an e-mail. Then we will block the data for you.
We will let you know this. Please wait for our confirmation.
You can then start booking your flight ticket.
This way you know for sure that the bungalow is reserved in your name before you buy a plane ticket.
PAYMENT
A deposit of 50% is due at the time of booking.
Only after receipt of the deposit will the booking be final.
The full booking amount is due 60 days prior to arrival.
If the booking is made within 60 days prior to arrival, the full booking amount is due immediately.
CANCELLATION
If you cancel more than 60 days before the planned arrival day, your deposit will be fully refunded.
If you cancel within 60 days before the planned arrival day, if you don’t show up or if you leave early, there is no right to a refund.
We recommend that you take out travel and cancellation insurance.
CANCELLATION DUE TO COVID-19
Be aware of any travel restrictions due to the Covid virus. If it is not possible to come to Bonaire due to travel restrictions imposed by the Dutch or Bonaire government, you can convert your booking free of charge within one year of the planned arrival date.
An alternative is to take out cancellation insurance that pays out when the destination code turns orange or code red.
If you are not allowed to fly due to a positive PCR test from you or your travel companion, there are various cancellation insurance policies that cover this. In case of a positive test, rebooking or a refund by us is not possible. We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance with appropriate coverage conditions.
EXTENDING YOUR STAY
If you wish to extend after the end of your stay, this is possible until the next guests arrive. You will pay the normal nightly rate.
CLEANING COSTS
At the booking you have paid a one-time amount for final cleaning including the one-time washing of the linen. If you’d like to wash in the meantime, you can ask the manager for a fee or go to the launderette yourself. There is no intermediate cleaning; we can arrange this on request (extra costs). We try to keep the costs as low as possible, and many guests prefer to clean ourselves.
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
You can check in from 4 p.m.
On the day of departure you check out at noon.
DECENTLY
You can smoke outside on the porch. Not inside in living room, bathrooms and bedrooms.
In all reasonableness, leave the bungalow tidy. Crockery and cookware must be clean and tidy upon departure.
OWNERS’S LIABILITY
We are not liable for damage or personal injury, or for accidents that occur in the bungalow, on our own grounds or in the park.
We would like to point out that there is no lifeguard at the park swimming pool and that you are responsible for supervising people who cannot swim.
DIVING TANKS AND DIVING LEAD
It is not allowed to place diving tanks and plumb lead on the change gels and inside i.v.m. damage to the tile work. You can leave dive tanks at the dive center. Diving plunger can be placed in the car or next to the bungalow.
DAMAGE BY TENANT
If damage occurs by accident, you must report this to us. This damage is often covered by your own liability insurance. That way we don’t have to pay for the costs.
In the event of damage to the bungalow or inventory, on the grounds or in the park, we can hold you liable for this.
