You will be picked up from the airport free of charge by our always smiling Bonairean taxidriver and caretaker Hosé. For that purpose, please provide your flight number and arrival time. He brings you to the bungalow where we will welcome you if we can. Please indicate when booking whether you want to be picked up or not.
If you do not want to be picked up at the airport, please indicate what time you will be at the bungalow? So we can arrange for you to get the keys.
You can check in from 4 p.m.
On the day of departure you check out at noon.
If no cleaning is scheduled for the next guests on your departure day, you can usually stay free of charge until you want to go to the airport. If you want to be sure that you can stay until the evening, you can simply book an extra night in advance.
Upon departure you can arrange your transfer to the airport with Hosé if you wish (directly or we call him for you).
Bath towels and kitchen linen are provided, and the beds are provided with linen in a nice hotel quality. Final cleaning includes one-time washing of bed linen, kitchen linen and bath towels.
At the booking you have paid a one-time amount for final cleaning including the one-time washing of the linen. If you want to wash in the meantime, we can arrange this with the caretaker for a fee or you can go to the launderette yourself.
There is no intermediate cleaning; we can arrange this on request (extra costs). We try to keep the costs as low as possible, and many guests prefer to clean themselves.
On request we can place a cot and / or highchair for small children, free of charge (maximum 1 per booking). Please indicate this in advance when booking.
Bonaire does not have extensive public transportation. The shopping street and the boulevard are within walking distance. Along the extended main road along the park (the Kaya Carlos A. Nicolaas) at Kaminda Djabou you will find a neighborhood supermarket at walking distance. Behind the main shopping street is a modest supermarket. The larger supermarkets Van den Tweel (Albert Heijn) and Warehouse (Jumbo) are beyond walking distance.
To explore the island it is recommended to rent a car.
If anything is not entirely satisfactory, please contact us, or if we are not on the island, our caretaker Hosé immediately. We will solve the problem. We will immediately arrange for something to be repaired or replaced. Even with small things: please give us a chance to resolve these for you!
